Very sweet, Colin.

Reminds me of PRINCESS BRIDE ๐Ÿ‘ฐโ€โ™€๏ธ.

She was perused by a sincere stable boy ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŒพ who always answered โ€œas you wishโ€ to her requests and a swindling prince ๐Ÿคด. Guess who won her heart โ™ฅ๏ธโ€ฆ

This is beautiful! Superficial things like status and outer appearances get old after a while.

Great story Colin...but would he be able to protect her like the boys who were physically strong when they were attacked? Would he have the fighting skills? Remember he was only telling her something he wanted her to hear. Just being devils advocate.

Thanks Ernie. Thatโ€™s why they left the village, too dangerous and negative. But it still highlights a problem we have in our world. People chasing validation and money and pretty things that have no depth.

Devilโ€™s advocate again because in a way I did leave the village when I was homelessโ€ฆand find myself in the somewhat trapped position of wanting to chase money because of the entrepreneurial make up of my lifeโ€ฆbut staying on Housing Benefit because the work I am capable of doing wonโ€™t pay the rent. I would often find myself wishing I was back in the tentโ€ฆbut concioous that I would struggle to do work from that situation. I prefer money.

I hear you Ernie. I think there are different levels to chasing money. There is doing what you need to in order to earn money. And then there is doing whatever it takes to get as much money as possible, regardless of the consequences. There is damaging others to gain wealth. There is chasing sports cars and fast women. When it becomes obsessive above all else, then it is unhealthy and unhelpful.
