Precisely, and on point Colin!!Many will not agree with me, but for to find God I stayed away from churches and religions and focused instead on the Bible and other books I believe to be holy.

I'm finding more and more people who feel this way, Charlotte. I think most people's relationship with religion is complicated. Seeing your comment today reminded me of a post I have been meaning to draft, so thank you for that.

I really appreciate how you said that weaponizing religion is not the same as forming a real relationship with a loving God. Colin, that was so refreshing to read! Also about how you said that not everyone is immersed in the fear-mongering, but that some of us are choosing to focus on what we love. YES! What if we all tried to do this? What if each one of us, bit by bit, chose to invest our time and energy into being kind to each other? Or maybe begin by becoming more self-aware, so that we aren't constantly enraged by every little thing that irritates us. Such good points.

Thank you Jeannie. Yes, the whole point is that a different world is available to us. And we all have the ability to create it. We have to take our power back and be more loving and kind rather than follow the media and get angry about everything. Thanks again for commenting 😊 xxxxxx

Amazing post, Colin. Such an important piece right now.

I know too many people wrapped up in the news and that is all they focus on. Even though I don’t watch the news, I notice every once in awhile if it is brought up, I can become curious and it is tempting to fall into the rabbit hole of the doom and gloom. I have to remind myself what the news is designed to do- keep us in fear and keep us separate from one another, as well as disconnect us from our soul’s purpose.

Thank you for this reminder. Bravo on another great post!

Thank you so much Lily. Yes, 100% it is just a trap. It is funny because we get angry about things in the news they have made up but the truth is 100 times worse. Thanks again, greatly appreciate your support :-)

It took me over 65 years to take responsibility and yes, it was worth the wait. The last ten years have been a revelation. A tribute to the strength, the power and the resilience of the human BEING.

It's been a period of reflecting on the mistakes and the people I have hurt...but also the people I've made an impact on. It's also been a blessing to have reached an age where I have no fear of opposing or offending people when I disagree (and Colin you have been amongst the people who have allowed opposing views.) I say listen to the news. I'm sure there were people in England who were shocked when Chamberlain announced that we were at war...they had been working the fields or the mines. We do not have that excuse. There are people who are shocked to hear that Starmer is arresting christians for praying in the street and the teenage sexual abuse has been a traumatic experience for white girls in the North...because the media hid the truth. People are shocked at the sudden explosion of violent attacks by fundamentalists because the media hid the truth. The time has come...in fact its probably too late... to be the news...or at least the news bringer...be Mercury... AND prepare to be Mars...the time is coming and the time to prepare is here.

Thanks for this Ernie. I am very happy for you that you learnt this. It is a powerful lesson.

I get news from @Peter Imanuelsen who gives us the real news of what is going on. Although, I can barely believe it to be honest. If people only knew the truth, I wonder if they would finally wake up to what is really going on in this world.

Thanks again Ernie and wishing you all the best as always.

Having said that Colin my lesson to you is to get more involved in listening to the opposition news..."know the enemy"
