Throughout the ages, over many thousands of years, people have always struggled and needed guidance. In a small village which used to be the way of life, there was always a witch doctor type figure.
If you had any problems then you would go to them and tell them your problems. They would pray to the Gods for you, mix up some foul tasting potion for you to drink and give you some advice as to what to do.
There were also the elders in the village who would also share their skills and knowledge of the world that they had learnt with the rest of the tribe.
Each village was like a support system. They all dived in to go hunting or grow their crops. They would all help if a baby was being born.
The stronger the tribe, the more resilient and stronger they all were. Fear was a big thing to deal with in those dangerous times and so was trauma.
Life was dangerous and it wasn't uncommon to lose a loved one in a family. A mother or father to an accident or wild animal. But the tribe was a community and they all helped each other regardless of the problem.
As time went on, the villages turned into bigger towns and then into cities. Times changed and there was less of a community.
There was a lot more competition in a city. For jobs, for food, even for the best looking man or woman to be your partner. The bigger the cities grew, the more the competition intensified.
People who ran businesses wanted to get the most out of their people. They put pressure on them and put pressure on their sales people. Everything was competition and pressure.
And so it is in today's world. Companies like Amazon and Apple are trillion dollar companies. They strive to be the biggest and the best and the only way they can do this is by pushing their staff to be constantly better.
To get more out of them. To make them work harder and longer hours. And in this competitive world that we live in, there is no time to feel sorry for yourself.
There is no time to deal with past traumas or challenges in your life. And so people start to break. But when they seek help, they are told to man up. To stop being silly and just get on with it.
And so they do until one day they snap or they are unable to work or function and then they are discarded. Fired because they can't hack it. Rejected, they hide away.
If they are lucky the system will look after them otherwise they become a burden to others. They complain bitterly at the injustice of what has happened to them but they can't and don't do anything about it.
What not many realise or understand is that if we resolved issues going on for people then they would perform better. They would be better at their job.
They would be a better partner and a better parent. They would be a better person to be around. They would be more fun and joyful. They would be nicer and kinder and more empathetic.
They would be more supportive. Stronger and more resilient. If we imagine that everyone is a preforming athlete. Every aspect of them has to be functioning at a high level.
Their body and their mind. If we take this approach to everyone then we shall have people performing better at life.
Finding ways for people with ADHD to function better and be more productive. Help people resolve past trauma so that it doesn't always plague them and hold them back in their life.
Uncover self-limiting belief systems. Increase awareness of how people and being and acting and affecting others around them.
To take time for themselves to reset in nature.
To try different experiences in their life.
To seek and find out their genius so that they are truly be high functioning and live their true purpose in this world.
To go after specific goals that will bring them love, joy and above all, a sense of fulfilment in their life.
There are so many different aspects to look at to make a human function at a higher level. And by functioning at a higher level, people will have a better life. It is a win win for everyone.
It just takes some time and commitment to understand that it is important to do the work on yourself. To improve yourself. To not think, I will do that in the future when I have time.
The more time you make for it now, the more time you will have in the future. Taking brief time to reset in nature will help you function better.
Doing meditation and yoga will also help people function better overall.
There are emotions trapped within all of us from our lives. These balls of bad energy within us cause us pain and suffering and even illness. Doing the work to release these has a huge positive affect on the physical body as well as the mind.
There is so much to explore and uncover in this world. There are always things to let go of that don't serve you.
When we do the work to uncover the reason behind our depression, then we can permanently cure it. When we follow the path of self-improvement, a whole new world opens up for us.
We shall experience the world in a whole new way. We shall be more positive, happier and more loving. More resilient to challenges we face in our day to day life.
When we truly want what is best for one another, rather than to simply take from another person in a competitive way, then we all win.
We all support each other. We all function at a high frequency. We all enjoy life more.

'Times changed and there was less of a community.'
Exactly, Colin. In our modern world, there's a serious lack of community and that nourishing human connection, making people feel lonely and less supported. This is what contributes to mental health issues.
When we do the work to uncover the reason behind our depression, then we can permanently cure it.⬅️ I'm curious, how did you cure yours! There must be something that triggered it!🤔
How did I cure mine? Coming soon in my next post, wait for it, bro! 👍💪✌️🫰🫶🙏😁
