Well that was absolutely devastating to read. I'm so very sorry for your loss. There are so many injustices in the Healthcare world. It's quite disturbing. I saw this time and time again when in the hospital with lily and my nonprofit work.
So sad and all too familiar. We have lost two family members, murdered by the nhs (called 'never incidents'). These very rarely make the news and they were also one of the statistics. Not allowed to mention it, because we're supposed to be grateful of this wonderful service.
Too many to mention in the news. I’m sorry for your loss too. It is a service which sucks up a enormous amount of cash largely due to incompetency than necessary.
This is truly sad despite all the good he has done.
When my mum was sick, she didn't wana stay in the hospital until we were out of wit cos she was unable to consume normal food n she was very pessimistic about her condition that led us to finally sent her to the hospital. However, we took turn to stay with her 24/7, incase she is scared of being alone. All the staff in the ward commended that she has a wonderful n caring family. I'm grateful they were empathetic enough to ease her pain n updating us her condition. 🙏
I think the only option is to stay with the person 24/7 if you are allowed to. It is sad that this is what you have to do to protect you loved ones in what is essentially a hostile environment.
We were not too worried about their hostile behaviour. In Sg, we like to complain a lot. I heard things that happened in other countries, but if the same happened here, no way we are letting it slide. Sg is too small to keep any news hidden n it will become a hooha in no time. Lol 🤣
Ah, I wish that was the same here but everything just gets swept under the carpet. Its good to hold people accountable which is really what my post is about.
Oh my goodness! I pray the horror of this injustice somehow gets put right, Colin. Thank you for sharing...
Thank you Jeanie…

I am so sorry this happened..
Thanks Kelly.

Yeah! If there is medical negligence, they are supposed to give an explanation n do whatever it takes to salvage at their best possible!
In this country, they just all protect each other’s backs and pretend it never happened. You will really struggle to get anywhere legally.
That is really sad, I feel you, bro! 🙏
Thank you Taylor… Apparently, in the US, more people die every 3 months from malpractice than in the twin towers attack…
