There is an eternal battle raging on earth between love and hate. Love is by far the stronger but hate comes to us easier.
We have been trained from a young age to hate. We see our parents hate others who have done bad and evil things and so we hate them too.
But imagine if our first thought was empathy and understanding. Once we go into hate mode then we can't see past it. It blinds all our other sensors.
Our heart rate increases, we start sweating. Fear and anger rise up. We want to kill and destroy those that cause us to hate. But we are all unconscious.
We are not aware of what is really going on for ourselves and for others and in the world. Things never just happen for no reason.
There is always a long list of catastrophic events which lead to someone doing something evil. There is always a reason behind every evil act of murder or similar.
But most of all, it all comes from being unconscious. Completely unaware of what we are doing in our life. What actions and choices we make every day. And how these affect other people around us.
We are unaware of how those little outbursts we have of anger and hate and fear have on those around us. We tell ourselves we don't care but it is just a story.
We really do care, very deeply but we are not in touch with that emotion. We spend all our time dulling it down. We spend our lives seeking out distractions that will help us get through life.
I used to spend all my time saying that I simply wished to get through life as quickly and painlessly as possible. That is absolutely not the point of life on earth. Life is a golden gift. It is the ultimate prize and the ultimate challenge.
We spend countless other lives floating around the universe, living as a different entity. Finally. We get our chance to be born on earth and to have a human experience.
We're excited and full of joy and hope and intrigue. And a young child we are full of wonder as we stare at this new world around us. We are untouched and unspoilt.
We are as innocent as it gets. However, before long, we start to see a different world. We start to be influenced by others who have been living the human experience for longer than we have.
They begin to show us a world which is not full of wonder and intrigue but one full of pain and suffering and struggle. And so, they show us that this is way the world is.
We're confused, this is not the experience that we were sold. This is not the magical lift that the human experience was supposed to be.
We are read fairy tales of adversity followed by wonderful happy end results and life forever after. It sounds simple and easy and joyful. This is the human experience we were promised.
But no one is living this fantasy. We face many different events and challenges as a young child and we have to start building defences within us to protect ourselves and our innocence.
We begin to realise that the reality which is created for us is not beautiful and wonderful. We have to start to fend for ourselves. We can't always trust those closest to us to love and care for us unconditionally.
We realise that the old people around us have all been changed by their life experiences. We look around and we seem hopelessness and despair.
We see that people are almost dead inside. They lash out at us. A pure, innocent young child. Full of hopes and dreams and magic. All crushed in a single moment.
We suddenly realise that we have not been born into a beautiful world of magic and fairy tales. We begin to understand we need to survive. That becomes our primary goal.
We forget all the hope and magic and love and we spend our time just trying to survive. Perhaps then, one day we will be able to realise all those hopes and dreams and fairy tales that we were promised.
But often that day never comes. We remain in survival mode. Of course, there are moments of love and laughter and pleasure but they are fleeting.
As a new dawn breaks, it is another day to survive. It is another day to deal with whatever life throws at us.
We are thrown into a school system where we are slowly brain washed into understanding that the world is different to what we imagined. We sit with other children and a teacher.
All who are fighting their own battle. All lashing out at us in different ways based on their own human experience so far.
And so, we give up on our hopes and dreams and the magical experience that was promised to us and we begin to learn how to survive.
We fight back. We lash out back at others. We become just like others around us. And so, in a few short years, we settle into survival mode.
We seek distractions just like everyone else to get our small hits of dopamine.
For some, the people around them are more damaged by their experiences than others and so they are moulded into a monster. They don't receive love but hate.
They get hated by unknown people. They receive the frequency of hate from everyone around them and so, they slip into that frequency themselves. Their heart shrinks away behind a wall.
They may get married and have children but it is pleasure they seek, not love. For their heart is shut off. They begin to do unto others what was done to them. And so a vicious cycle is created.
Just like they were influenced and created when they were a young child, they do the same to their own children. And so, this is the way of the world.
And if we are really lucky and we keep the faith throughout our struggles and suffering that there must be a better way. Then one day, we may be lucky enough to start to understand that we create our own reality.
We don't need to be influenced by the wrong people around us. We can break free and seek out that magical human experience that was promised to us before we were born.
Never give up hope. That life full of unconditional love really does exist and it is worth seeking out.
It is worth all the effort in healing yourself from your lifetime so far.
"Life is a golden gift. It is the ultimate prize and the ultimate challenge."
THIS. So many people take life for granted or don't fully grasp what a beautiful precious gift it is. It can be snatched away so quickly.
Stop and look around every now and then, take a deep breath, and keep moving. Those are the moments that fuel the greatness!
