Yes...this whole essay is a loving kindness meditation. I feel calmer after reading it.

I'm feelin' it, I know it works. The Bible says "pray for your enemies", I'd say you're saying the same thing in a secular way. I have only one enemy I can think of, and it DOES feel better to pray for this person, I feel better inside, because I'm not being eaten up with bad vibes and hatred. Nice going Colin, well written and expressed.
