Why Everything Feels Hard When You’re in Survival Mode
A Higher State of Being
Thousands of years ago, in what we now call ancient Egypt, people went about their daily lives with a deep understanding that there was more to reality than what could be seen with the eyes.
They understood something subtle, yet powerful.
They knew that when they raised their inner state — their vibration — their mindset changed. And when their mindset changed, their outcomes changed too.
Vibration wasn’t something they could see. But it was something they could feel.
They felt it in their bodies.
They felt it in their minds.
And they saw it reflected back to them in their lives.
When they operated from this higher state, things seemed to work out. They felt aligned — with the earth, with the universe, and with their gods. Their minds became quieter. The inner noise settled. Everything felt clearer.
Most importantly, they could hear their intuition.
They trusted it.
They followed it.
They took action on it.
And by taking the right action, and putting in the effort required, their lives began to change for the better.
They felt authentic.
They felt truthful.
They felt purposeful.
Other people responded to them differently too. When someone operated at this higher level, others naturally rose to meet them. Those who couldn’t simply fell away — because you can’t communicate clearly from a low state into a high one.
At this level, there was no drama.
No nonsense.
No distraction.
There was focus. Presence. Purpose.
Things got done.
There was no complaining about circumstances.
No victimhood.
Just responsibility and action.
The longer they remained in this state, the longer they functioned at their highest level — because this wasn’t something they did. It was a state of being.
Their highest self.
The Lower State: Survival Mode
The opposite of this is a primal, survival-based state.
This is where life feels hard.
You seek distraction instead of doing what needs to be done.
You procrastinate.
You second-guess your intuition.
You fight against what you truly want to do.
Self-limiting beliefs take over instead of your highest self.
Everything feels difficult.
Everything feels heavy.
Everything feels almost impossible.
But the Egyptians understood something important.
When faced with challenges or dilemmas, they knew that problems are not solved from a low state. They are solved from a higher one.
A calm state.
A confident state.
A grounded, self-assured state.
From there, there is a deep knowing of what needs to be done. And instead of looking for excuses, action is taken.
Action leads to results.
Results lead to solutions.
Solutions lead to a life you love.
And this creates a deep sense of fulfilment.
As humans, there is no greater feeling than fulfilment.
It is unconditional love — for yourself and for others.
No expectations.
Just love.
Because deep down, beneath the noise and the self-limiting beliefs trying to sabotage your day, you know the truth:
You are a powerful creator.
You are creating your life in every moment.
When you are self-aware of your thoughts, feelings, and actions — and you choose healthy thoughts and aligned actions — extraordinary things begin to happen.
A life you once only dreamed of starts to become real.
Choosing Gratitude Over Drama
In this higher state, you become aware the moment negativity tries to creep in.
You catch it.
You remove the energy from it.
And you continue forward.
You sidestep drama.
You find solutions quickly.
You meet adversity with clarity.
Because you understand something deeply:
You created the challenge — and you can choose not to create it again.
Instead, you choose ease.
You choose simplicity.
You choose joy.
You choose love.
You allow moments of awe into your life.
Sunrises and sunsets move you.
A sky full of stars takes your breath away.
A single flower fills you with wonder.
This is gratitude.
When you appreciate the small things, more beautiful things arrive.
The universe responds to your reactions.
If you react with frustration, disappointment, or anger, the universe gives you more of that.
If you react with gratitude, wonder, and appreciation, the universe gives you more of that.
You always receive what you focus on.
This is how you create a life you love.
By focusing on what you love.
By not feeding the drama.
By taking responsibility.
By listening to your intuition.
By taking action.
By putting in the effort.
That is the recipe.
