What an exciting adventure awaits you if you will only open the door and walk through. We spend our whole lives in fear as to what is on the other side of that door.
We are held back by our belief systems. The ones that falsely tell us that we are not good enough. We are unworthy and so on.
These belief systems are designed to keep us safe and small and poor. If we embrace our true self that is devoid of these belief systems then we shall truly see what life has to offer us.
It will truly blow your mind. You see, deep inside us, there are things that we would love to do in our lifetime. But the time is never right and so we wait.
And you know what happens. The time is never right. You have to grab life with both hands and follow your heart. Just dive right in and see what happens.
There is a whole world of adventures awaiting for each and everyone of us if we just step through that door. No excuses.
Things are never as expensive as we imagine they are and there is always ways to do things where money is not the thing that holds us back.
We could go on a working holiday.
We could house sit for someone in a location we have always wanted to go. Anywhere in the whole world.
Where there is a problem, there is always a solution.
The key is to stop. Go and be in nature. Ground yourself, quieten your mind and the solution to your problems will come to you in the quiet space you create for yourself.
Your intuition can not operate in a busy mind that is worrying about things that may never happen. Or worrying about things that you can not change.
Nature is our home and so it helps us be in our natural state of being peaceful and calm and safe. And this is where our inner wisdom can reach us. Give us the solutions we seek.
A hundred years ago, in India, there was a young boy that fell deeply in love with a girl in his village. And she with him.
But her parents did not like the boy or his family and so they took their daughter away to a city very far away. Both the children were distraught and depressed. They felt powerless about their situation.
But the boy knew that there was no way the universe allowed them to meet and fall in love if their destiny was not to be together forever. And so, he pulled himself together. Stopped feeling sorry for himself and being a victim.
He went for a long walk away from his village and found a stream running down from the mountain. There was a small waterfall and the sound of the water falling made him feel peaceful and happy once more.
As he sat there, quiet and full of gratitude, he started to come up with ideas as to how he could find his love. He knew the name of the city and he knew that trains traveled all the way there.
He knew it was easy to hitch a ride on a train. It was also dangerous but if he could be in a heightened spiritual state of mind, he would be guided by his intuition.
And so, he packed some food into his school bag and early the next morning, headed off to find the railway track. Again, he knew there would be a train very early, around 5 am passing close by.
There was a station not too far away and the train would slow for this and he would get the opportunity to jump onboard. It was even easier than he imagined and he hid himself amongst the coal on one of the carriages.
He would have to find somewhere to clean up later. He feel fast asleep as the train wound through the valleys and through many villages and towns. Suddenly, the boy was wide awake.
A voice in his head told him he needed to jump off the train straight away. Without hesitation he scrambled to the side and climbed down.
The train was still going quite quickly so his timing would have to be perfect otherwise he could be killed under the train’s screeching wheels.
That voice again, said "now", and he leapt as far as he could. He landed and rolled over and over but it was on soft, green grass and he wasn't hurt at all.
Relieved, he gathered his bag which had burst open and put what little he had back inside it. He stopped for a moment, sitting in the grass, getting his heart rate back down and making himself calm and purposeful once more.
His instincts told him to walk along the track in the direction he had been travelling. Just as he started to wonder if jumping off the train was the brightest idea, there was an almighty bang and the sound of screeching metal.
Up ahead, he saw an explosion light up the sky. Big, dark clouds of smoke soon followed. The train he was on had derailed and his intuition had saved his life.
His shook his head in disbelief and yet, knew it was simply proof of how the world worked if you just listened and took action. He headed away from the track and the accident up ahead.
He had no idea where he currently was but knew it would soon become apparent when it needed to. He walked on for over an hour and came to a road which he began to walk along.
The road was quiet with hardly any cars on it but soon one stopped and asked if he wanted a lift and where he was going. Instinctively he rejected the offer. There was something about the people in the car that he didn't like.
There was bad energy from that car. Many children where kidnapped and forced into slave labor or sold to rich people who couldn't have children themselves.
Neither of which appealed to the young boy. Another car stopped not long after and he had a much better feeling this time. He was grateful to get off his feet and be able to sit down.
Magically, this car was going to the city he was aiming for. He knew his mission was far from over. He would still have to find her in a city of probably millions of people.
Once again, he fell silent and meditated. No pressure, not worrying or panicking. Just being ready to receive. Suddenly, he asked to be let out, this was his destination.
The road they where on was very busy and jam packed with cars and so it was easy to jump out. He thanked the woman driver profusely before heading off into the unknown once more.
He felt like he was following his nose. He went down one street, and then another. Turning abruptly to change direction. Finally, he came to a school.
It seemed very quiet but he could hear the murmur of voices and knew the school was in session. He ate the last of his rations as he sat down to wait.
An hour went past and then another before he was startled by a clanging bell. School was out. He stood as tall as he could, trying to see above all the children and parents and teachers.
But to no avail. He couldn't find his love. He began to despair but reminded himself to stay resolute. To stay committed. And so, when most of the throng of parents and children had dissipated he sat down to wait once more.
Before long, another throng of children came out of the school, chatting and squealing and running about. And there she was.
He felt his heart pounding, goosebumps on his arms. The universe and showed him the way. In a practically impossible situation, he had followed his heart. She stared at him in disbelief.
She couldn't believe her eyes and yet, they started to well up as she dropped her school books and ran to him. Embracing him in a fierce hug. "I knew you would come for me", she whispered.
Suddenly, she pulled back. “My mother will be here any minute. She will take me away again. Are we going to run away together?”
"No", the boy said. "We are going to do this properly. I have proved we are supposed to be together. We shall give your parents the chance to see true love.
If they refuse, then we shall run away." The girl nodded. She knew he was right. She didn't want to be running her whole life.
Her mother was shocked to see the boy they had run away from, standing right there in front of her once more. Determined and resourceful. She knew then, there was no point in fighting it.
The boy had proved himself worthy of their daughter. She sent word to the boy’s parents that he was safe and sound and they didn't need to worry about him.
They would look after him and the two would return to the village in due course.
This powerful experience showed the couple the kind of life they could have if they followed their heart and intuition. There were many more exciting adventures coming their way.
Weeding in the heat. That’s my adventure for today after countdown
amazing, heartfelt and I'm hoping my inner spirit has heard it and will start drowning out the fear-wrapper (red sea) i have been under ... clarity and living stillness are much needed, along with a healthy dose of action!
