In the beginning of time, there was a night sky, endlessly full of stars and planets. They shone brightly down upon a dark earth for there were no lights of any kind.
In fact, the only source of light, when the moon was not full was only the stars themselves. If it was cloudy then it would be darker than the murky depths of a deep lake.
The stars were so bright and there were so many of them that it was almost impossible to distinguish the different constellations.
They were a little brighter but all the stars were bright and numerous. As these stars gazed down upon the earth they noticed the world changing slowly at first and then more rapidly as technology advanced.
Once upon a time there were merely camp fires. Then a multitude of candles and lamps in villages and towns. Finally, with the advent of electricity, the earth shone more brightly than the stars themselves and it was in this moment that they outshone the stars and we could no longer see them in all the glory as intended.
Only in dark places, away from built up civilisations can we truly see them in their intended magnificence. Not only are they beautiful to marvel at but they offer us a great many things.
Guidance, hope, energy, love, light and peace. In the past, in ancient times, it was often the only thing than was beautiful for men were at war with each other and there were many dark times and much death and destruction.
The stars remained steadfast in their beauty and magnificence regardless of time, troubles, floods and ice ages. They were at times the only constant.
They give us strength and resilience. So, at any opportunity you get, look up to the stars and understand their power and gifts to the earth.
They are a strong ally. They will never let you down as long as they can be seen. And their love is infinite. Do not let such a valuable and beautiful ally be ignored.
They watched our ancestors grow up, many thousands of years ago. They are the only ones who know how the pyramids were built as they watched them, stone by stone being erected.
The stars are not effected by war, poverty, famine or natural disasters. They watch and observe humanity's triumphs and mistakes.
They see the evil and the good. They see birth and death. They see the four seasons every year for eternity. If you seek strength and resolve in your life, simply look up to the stars and you will be healed.
