The Moment You Doubt Your Desire, You Change the Outcome
The hidden habit that turns bold desires into smaller outcomes.
Be Clear About What You Want
Here is scenario worth paying attention to.
Sometimes, you really want something.
A result.
An opportunity.
A change.
If you want it, you must be absolutely clear.
And you must not let self-limiting beliefs sabotage your request.
This is where people get stuck.
They ask for something — and then immediately start negotiating against themselves.
I’m not good enough, so it’s fine if only a few people buy my book.
It’s okay if only a handful of people come to my retreat.
I don’t know enough people anyway.
The moment those thoughts enter, you’ve changed the request.
You’ve said to the universe, Actually, don’t give me the full thing — just a smaller version.
And that’s exactly what you get.
Stay With the Tension
If you want something, go for it.
Even if it feels big.
Even if it feels uncomfortable.
Even if it feels audacious.
Stay with the tension of wanting what you truly want.
Don’t scale it back.
Don’t add escape clauses.
Don’t short-change yourself.
Stick with your original request.
Trust yourself enough to hold it.
And don’t give up until it arrives.

This May, I’m leading a small group to the heart of Africa — not for checklist tourism, but for connection, contribution, and transformation.
Together we’ll support conservation, help children learn to read, and share knowledge with students preparing for university.
This is more than travel — it’s a reset for your heart, mind & soul.

Sometimes it really is that easy!!! I'm so proud of you Colin for writing and feeling this piece. As a fellow person who suffered with depression, coming out of it is all a choice of believing in yourself
This: "Trust yourself enough to hold it." 😍😍
