In the shadow of the moon, the real horrors of the world lie in wait. In the darkness of your mind where there are no limits to your imagination, lies everything.
Light, love, horror, murder, death, pain, agony, humanity. It is your human side that dwells within your mind. For many, there is a darkness lurking within.
Trauma from this life, from your childhood but also many other lives, lie deep in the darkness of the human mind. And it is from this darkness that life is created from stories.
Stories that mostly have no truth but are derived out of trauma and the need to survive. The mind will make up the worst case scenario for its human host.
It will be awkward, painful and frustrating. It will escalate to violence and then, in a heartbeat, as soon as it came, it shall disappear again. Back into the shadows from whence it came.
But, it’s human will be left distraught at the story that was created. They will be hot and bothered. Their heart rate will have increased. They will be uncomfortable and even angry.
But the truth, is that they story had no truth from beginning or end. It was purely the darkness of the mind trying to prepare you for the worst possible outcome of a made up scenario.
An outcome that is never going to happen. An outcome, that even if it does happen, will not prepare you for it. And indeed, in real life, will no doubt have a different outcome.
The human mind is poisoned from generations of trauma, from war, from murder, from deadly and horrifyingly painful disease. From powerlessness, from rape, from loss of loved ones.
There is so much darkness to choose from in a lifetime of not just one but many in a single family. If you are an old soul and have had many human lifetimes, then you have many experiences to draw upon.
If you are a new soul, then perhaps you are lucky. Perhaps you are unaware of all the darkness that lurks within your mind. Perhaps you have your focus on other things in your life.
But I wonder if you are lucky or if it is simply a matter of time. Perhaps pain deferred to your next lifetime on earth. Your next human experience.
Darkness, memories, knowledge is the same as energy. It never dies. It never goes away forever. Unless you heal yourself, consciously and purposefully.
It will remain there, waiting for the opportune moment to resurface. It cause pain once more. Do you know of this darkness that I speak of? Deep within your mind.
Or are you one of the lucky ones, living in bliss, in the moment, in presence. Simply grateful for every day, for everything you have in your life.
Full of love for yourself, your family, the earth and her myriad of animals and plants and life. If you are one of the lucky ones, then tell me.
For the rest of us and fighting those demons every day. We dare not speak of them to anyone for we worry we shall be carried off to a mental home. But not speaking does not mean it is not there. Does not make it not true.
So my message today, is if you are suffering with stories from the darkest places of your mind. Then it is time to start your healing journey. It is time to start letting go off those old charges of emotions.
Those old memories that haunt us. For they will not go away by themselves. No, it will take work and will from you.
But the rewards will be priceless. The reward will be freedom in many different forms. Starting with freedom from the dark stories from deep within your mind.
My purpose is to help other suffer less. A quick like, comment or a share will be gratefully accepted to help reach more people who need it.
By the light of the sun and the light of the moon, old souls and new, aren’t we all light workers in training? Being a light worker means honoring the shadow and the dark too. Being a light worker is being someone who champions a full spectrum experience of bright to dark, and showing the ways to be in everything with integrity. Being a light worker means championing a place of simplicity, ease, and joy, without contradictions from greed and powering over deception. Being a light worker means respecting equally the shadows and the darkness, without shining your light to reveal things people with consent are doing for their pleasure and self challenge, to ruin the experience and the feelings one can get playing in these realms, with the assurance and safe guards that people are giving consent to the experiences, and the risk of adverse consequences. Being a light worker means always keeping the dark close, as close as closing your eyes. This means respecting our own and others darkness and protecting our ability and agency to venture into the dark spaces. This also means playing in the light with each other and children especially, sharing stories and role play about what these spaces and energies mean. Likewise, being a light worker means being a protector of self and others in shadow and dark spaces; shining light in the dark if people are pulled into these spaces without adequate understanding, knowledge and consent. Likewise, experts of the dark arts, when entering the light, are invited to hold their truth with confidence and any harms done in the dark shall be processed in the light through work with emotions and non-violent communication, whether alone or in groups. The light is a fabulous place to unpack old trauma with open hearted truth being people.
I feel that darkness and sometimes I'm between both worlds but I keep reaching for the light.
My journal looks like a lament on some days lol. There is so much darkness and it's best to acknowledge it and heal. Thank you for this 🖤✨
