Millions of years ago before mankind was wondering around our planet, dinosaurs and other animals roamed the earth. For a species to be so dominate for so many years, there had to be a level of intelligence and understanding.
There had to be thriving and not suffering. Only a species that survives for 185 million years must have been well organised and fair. Fair to every sub species for a chance at living and survival.
From giant beasts to fish and plants and insects. We may think the dinosaurs where wiped out because perhaps things were going wrong and that a more intelligent species called humans came along and showed them the way.
But in the world we live in today and the fact we have only been on this earth a fraction of the amount of time as dinosaurs. Are we really the more intelligent species?
Are we too intelligent for our own good. I think the dinosaurs success as a species is closely linked with their deep connection to nature, their environment and harmony.
As humans, many thousands of years ago, this is how we lived. But now, in more modern times, most are struggling and suffering and just trying to survive.
Everyone has mental health issues as well as many other health conditions. We are not a thriving species. From a technology perspective, perhaps we are.
But we only have to go back a mere 50 or 60 years where there was less technology but a generally happier species. Closer communities, always talking to each other and helping each other out.
It was only when corporate greed started to take over and the mindset of making as much money as possible regardless of the cost that things began to change.
People became sick from chemicals like DMT that became new wonder pesticides for your home. Only to turn into a catastrophic chemical that damaged and killed many humans and animals.
But it would just be renamed to something else so that the profits could continue to roll in. Roundup weed killer, turns into an everything killer.
As the human race drives to make everything more comfortable, more accessible, more controlled, healthier, happier. You have to wonder that what is really driving all of this is actually profit and immense wealth for the few.
If 50 or 60 years ago, only one parent needed to work and today, both parents have to work like crazy, how have we created ourselves a better society.
Prices are always going up. Large companies are complaining and yet profiting. The irony is that those that seek immense wealth and status and power are not coming from a pure place.
In reality, they are all seeking a validation that they missed out on as a young child from their fathers. They are trying to be as successful and wealthy as possible to prove to their father that they are worthy.
That they are worthy of their fathers love. The problem is that they are not aware of this because it is a subconscious program running in the background of their brains.
Enough is never enough.
Enough is never enough. When this is the case, you know that it does not come from your heart. It comes from either seeking validation or from fear.
Many people who ended up in concentration camps during world war 2 and survived. Then went on to be very successful business people.
The problem was that they did this out of fear. They did not want to be poor and behind bars ever again. However, their fear was so great that they did many illegal things and ended up back in jail anyway.
Because what you focus on becomes reality. What they were really thinking about was not being back in a jail type environment. They were driven to be successful every day by fear.
And their fear became reality. How many times do we see very successful people, actors, artists, business people, sports people completely sabotage their lives and have a massive fall from grace.
Just look at what is happening with P Diddy, R Kelly and Oscar Pistorius as a small example. People at the top of their game who lost it all. Because they lived in fear.
Are you living in fear. What do you fear most. More importantly, what are you focused on in your life. What are you running from.
In our modern world, we chase money and stuff. New phones, new cars, bigger houses, new tech. just more and more stuff.
And yet, the more we move towards this way of life, the further it takes us away from nature. Our true home. The more disconnected we become.
Unless something drastic changes in humanity for the better, the is simply no way that our species will survive as long as the dinosaurs. We have barely been here a second in the time of the earth and yet we have caused so much damage.
Both to ourselves and to our planet. The earth does not belong to us. We are just custodians and doing a really bad job of it.
We have poisoned our whole species in the name of profit and wealth and greed. We have allowed ourselves to be ruled and controlled by the few who in reality are completely incapable.
We are at war all around the world. We worship and admire those who are successful but in reality are actually destroying us.
And then, our ego will not allow us to be proved wrong and so we continue to worship those that seek to destroy us for their own gain.
We do not seek truth but we seek ignorance and comfort.
We all have a number where we can be paid off to look the other way. And then complain about the destruction that this results in but at no point do we or can we ever take responsibility for our actions.
No, our brains can't cope with that reality. So, my question to you is how are we going to save our species for our future generations.
And remember one thing. You will be born again after you leave this life. And you will be born again into the world that you are creating today.
This is my latest book on Amazon called Billion Dollar Hack. It’s an exciting thriller.
Roundup - it be better called FuckedUp. Here in the Netherlands there is investigation journalism, tv programs addressing that poison, what it does to nature, to us, and still “we” are allowing it. It’s devastating…
Great article Colin 👏👏
