Creating Our Own Torment
There are so many things in this world that torment our minds and yet they are of absolute no importance to our existence. They are so minor and yet they greatly affect our moods and our actions to the point that we are destructive.
Our actions and words are destructive to ourselves and to others. We break friendships and harmony and peace other such minor details for we do not stop and see things for what they really are.
We react without thinking. We lose time being miserable and suffering within over such minuscule events. We ponder and struggle and make up untrue scenarios that plague our minds endlessly.
It is only with great awareness that we realise the pointlessness of these made up thoughts and subsequent actions. It is with great awareness that we can see the meaningless little events that need not disturb our peace and tranquility.
For the truth is that love conquers all. Always go for what you love and always call upon love when in distress. Giving love changes frequencies.
It raises the frequencies to rise way above meaningless little inconsequential incidents that happen in our daily lives. Designed only to distract our focus from what we truly love.
To pull our focus away if only for a fleeting second to send us spiraling off course and into a darkness devoid of love and peace. It takes only an instant to fall but it takes only an instant to realise our folly and return once more to a place of love and a higher frequency.
When we operate from love and a higher frequency then we are in our genius. When we are in our genius, we are not distracted by these little events, a car cuts you up, pulls out in front of you, someone having their own bad day shouts at you for no reason.
Someone scratches your car accidently, you stand in dog poo that wasn't picked up by an unknown owner. A dog barks, a baby cries at an in opportune moment.
Someone plays loud music. Someone you are meeting is late. The list is truly endless. All events are easily rectified without fuss but we turn them into rage and a mountain.
We give them power, they consume us and yet. If we stopped and had the awareness for just a second, we would have let the incident pass and moved on our way.
Mild annoyance at worst. A smile at best that it wasn't any worse. Every incident, an opportunity to grow and react differently. Be different and make different choices that empower us rather than disempower us and take us off track.
Incidents are simply that, just little inconsequential incidents that in the grand scheme of things that have no further meaning than their brief fleeting moment in your life.
Leave them as a fleeting moment and do not allow them suck your time and energy.
