Everyone has beliefs.
They believe in ET's existence and abductions or they think it is a load of rubbish.
They believe that vaccines are safe and necessary or they believe they hurt and kill people.
They believe we landed on the moon or they believe it was a hoax.
I mean, some even believe the earth is flat.
People believe in a myriad of things all around the world. I could create a list as long as Long Island. The truth of the matter is that you don't really need to believe anything.
You can simply be open to whatever is true for you and be flexible enough to change if new evidence is presented to you.
The problem is that humans become very attached to their beliefs. They are willing to fight, die and lose all their friends over them.
But the reality is, none of us really know the full truth. But being open to believe whatever you feel is true at the time and being open to change your mind, means you are not attached to your beliefs.
You are not emotionally enrolled in whatever it is you believe. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day. It's all just drama that doesn't really serve anyone.
It has an even worse effect on people than alcohol. You really don't have to fight and die for your beliefs.
What does matter is that you seek a fulfilling life and you take action towards this.
Drama is a distraction that takes you off track.
It stops you creating a life you would love. Drama does not come from the heart.
So instead of worrying about what you have to believe and what your friends and colleagues believe, simply be open to whatever the truth is.
Don't give it more energy than it deserves. Save that for creating your life. Save that for taking action on your dreams and goals.
