Many thousands of years ago, a young boy was walking through the jungle when he spotted a girl from his village. She was knelt down and tenderly stroking a young fawn.
As he watched, he saw the fawn stagger to its feet and then lurch back to its mother. He continued to watch her as she stood up and straightened her fur clothing. She had been giving the fawn some water and love.
She had renewed its strength and brought it back to life from certain death. He saw the kindness in her. He saw the purity of her spirit. He marveled at her beauty, both inside and out.
Then she felt his presence, such was her awareness as she whirled around to look at him. The boy smiled and then walked away, back into the dark forest.
A few days later he saw the girl again. She was tending the chickens. She was talking to them and stroking them. Greeting each one by name while feeding them.
He noticed how focused she was whenever she did something. She was all in and fully present. She did everything to the best of her ability.
She did not just throw the chicken feed over the fence and walk away. She was loving and kind and thoughtful.
She knew that by giving her love and thoughtfulness to the chickens, they would respond by laying eggs filled with positive energy.
She knew that the world existed through energy. And that by seeking to create and find positive energy, it would return ten fold. Happiness came from positive energy.
So the more positive energy she could spread and create, the happier everyone would be. The boy watched from afar, marveling at her intensity and her manner.
He felt uplifted just by seeing her. She seemed to glow with this bright energy that affected those around her. People and animals.
The chickens clucked a little louder when she was about. But the boy knew that in order to have this girl, he would have to raise his game. She had not shown any interest in any of the boys in the village.
They were callous and shallow. They were so full of themselves that they didn't realise how pathetic they really came across.
They would get angry and frustrated when she ignored their advances. But the boy knew that as soon as they did that, they had completely failed and they would never have her.
They had showed their true colours right in the beginning. They had showed their weakness in the first encounter. And above all, they had showed they were still a child and not a man.
They behaved like a child having a tantrum when they didn't get what they wanted. It was nothing short of embarrassing. But the girl would not laugh at them. She would simply ignore them and continue on her way.
The boy knew he would have to be a better version of his current self to have any chance with wooing her heart. He would need to be more present.
He would need to be more loving and kind to others, especially animals. He would need to be useful. He would need to bring something to the table.
This girl didn't need anyone. She was completely capable and comfortable by herself. It scared the other boys for it made them feel weak and inadequate.
They felt lost when they were not needed. And so, instead of looking at themselves and wondering how they could be better, they simply lost interest and went to look for another girl in the village that did need them.
Another girl that was not so confident or comfortable. A girl that needed saving. A girl that would settle for one of these children, pretending to be men.
A girl that had a belief system that she wasn't good enough on her own. She wasn't capable. The irony was that the boys had the same self-limiting belief systems.
And so, when a boy and girl got together, they were trying to be saved and trying to seek validation by being wanted and loved by another. Not realising that it all came from within them.
They had to be comfortable and strong from within. No other person was going to give that to them. And so, when their needs where not being met by the other.
Needs that could only be met internally by themselves, then they would argue and fight and often break up and try and find someone else.
Their internal baggage increasing with every failed relationship. That was the fundamental difference with this other girl. Her comfort and confidence in herself.
Her lack of self-limiting beliefs. Her unconditional love for others. Her need was only for an equal partnership with another. One were they uplifted each other.
Supported each other and grew together. They were present with one another and didn't seek distraction. Didn't seek validation from each other or from others.
Constantly sought to be better. To be in a higher frequency. To deal with problems head on. And above all to understand that they were responsible for the life they created.
They were never a victim in any circumstance. They took responsibility for what they had created in their past and focused on what they would love in their life today.
The boy knew that he needed to be this person in order to have any chance with this beautiful, confident girl.
He would have to be pure of heart for she would instantly see through any tactic he would attempt to lure her in. and so he started off by helping her.
Helping her feed the chickens and learning their names and how to treat them. Helping her carry water back from the river. Taking her hunting in the forest.
Showing her things in the forest she had not seen before. He had to be patient and show her that he was willing to learn and willing to serve. And that he had strength to make her life easier.
When he could prove that he was her equal on many different levels and that they did not need each other but wanted each other.
Then and only then, would she allow herself to fall for him.
